I really enjoyed the Dress to Express: Handmade Glamour Workshop at Signal Arts, you were so lovely! It was a perfect balance of doing something out of my comfort zone but feeling very serene and in a flow state letting my inner child out and [do] whatever my heart desires!

We all sat and giggled and created for 3 hours. I woke up thinking about beading. I love fem-led, supportive, creative workshops. It was like being in a ladies bathroom. Lots of “YOU LOOK AMAZING Omg that’s fabulous! Ooooh can I borrow? Ok everyone, photo? Yaaasssss! Here, I’ll show you”.

Thank you Louise. I am SO SO SO glad I came. It was the perfect balm. I’m really grateful. 💙
I love how much everyone’s colour choices were so ‘them’. It was so good Louise. Meditative, kind, local making. And it’s got me feeling a bit unstuck. I’m stitching this morning. I’d really love to learn with you more.

Louise’s work is exquisite so I jumped at the opportunity to join in her workshop at Bundoora Homestead Arts Centre. Four hours vanished in an instant, as we patiently beaded feeling akin to nuns in a cloisters. What a meaningful, meditative afternoon.

I really love art and fashion but at times their inputs may not be 100% sustainable. This workshop made me really think about being more thoughtful with art and how we can utilise things we already have at home, or using second hand pieces from op shops to make beautiful pieces. I want to challenge myself to create art that follows these principles more, and to be conscious of who we consume from

Is your background in Art Therapy? The space felt so safe and the way you spoke about creativity and your work was so emotionally informed. You are so encouraging. Thank you, I loved it, and I can’t wait to share your details with friends.

This workshop with Louise was one of the finest I have participated in. And those who know me, know how many workshops I attend!
